I never said I was a Mexihca. None of us are Mexihcas anymore. They became extint when Spanish arrived in 1521 and now we're kind of a "mixture". I seriously doubt I got anything from the Mexihcas since my ancestors are European until the 19th century.

Nahuatl wasn't a written language so you cannot say it "evolved" in that way. In spite "tepozmalacatl" (with the classic) and "teposmalakatl" (with the modern) are the same word for automobile, is a neologism and there's the evolution of the language. In a non-written language ortography is not that important but since the main contributors prefer and have shown how to write on the classic form, we'll follow that.

And another thing, I hate calling "indigenous" people indios. Columbus just called them that way due his ignorance and therefore is also the term "indigenous". We're all half-bood or mestizos to some point. Is certainly impossible to descend from the same race. If only the whole Mexico spoke nahuatl...--Fluence 01:40 6 dic 2006 (UTC)
